Today, March 16th, 2013 was a day to remember. We traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to partake in the Wirehaired Vizsla Club of America AKC Miscellaneous and FSS breeds Open Show. There were 30 rare breed dogs entered in this AKC open show for both Misc and Foundation Stock Service (FSS) including 4 Barbet registered. Once Isis, handled by Amelia Ballak, won the breed she went on to best in FSS group. She took best in FSS group and moved into Best of Show against the winner of the Misc group. The judge commented how both dogs were excellent which made her decision difficult. Then, Isis earned Best of Show, The Judge Carol S. Brown commented that she exemplified the breed standard. We could not be more proud of her and Amelia Ballak. Also we are grateful for the Wirehaired Vizla Club of America for hosting and the Barbet Club of America the trophy sponsorship.
